Savannah & John

Savannah is a very dedicated and highly engaged volunteer with CREMS.  She has volunteered for multiple on-call shifts every week and has already donated more than 50 hours of her time responding to 911 EMS dispatches throughout the region in only the first 6 weeks of service. Her calm demeanor, sincere compassion, and attention to detail are a great asset to CREMS and benefit all residents of the Copper Valley whom she helps as a volunteer EMT.

Savannah-Marie Gregory is a Glennallen High-School graduate.  She began working for CRNA as the Covid Testing Coordinator in 2020 and completed her EMT training in 2021.  She then earned her American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification in 2022.  She is now the Medical Programs Manager at CRNA, which includes her role as the BLS and CPR/First Aid training coordinator for all CRNA employees.

When Savannah first signed up for one of CREMS volunteer orientation sessions in Glennallen, she asked her grandpa, John Gregory, if he would like to join her and volunteer as an ambulance driver for CREMS.

John was initially unsure if he could volunteer since he doesn’t have any medical training or background.  He is in fact tremendously helpful as a CREMS volunteer driver filling gaps in the on-call schedule and driving the ambulance so that the volunteer medics can focus on assisting with patient care.

John has lived in Glennallen since June of 2010 and has a long background in education having been a teacher and principal for a combined 36 years at "Calvary Christian School" in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Since living in Glennallen, John as been a substitute teacher at Glennallen School, taught a Basic Electric Class and Intro to Aviation class, flew for Copper Valley Air for 5 years and is a certified flight instructor, and also drove school buses for First Student and for Head Start.
